Gwen Aube is a working class writer living in Montreal, Quebec. Her debut collection, Missed Connections with Tall Girls, is forthcoming from LittlePuss Press.
She is a 2026 Al Purdy A-Frame Artist-In-Residence & 2025 AiR with the Ontario Heritage Council. She was a finalist for the 2025 PEN Canada New Voices Award, as well as a Kevin Killian Scholarship recipient for the Jack Kerouac School. Her chapbook pulp necrosis was published by above/ground press.
Her work appears in The New Orleans Review, The Gay & Lesbian Review, Maisonneuve Magazine, Expat Press, and Contemporary Verse 2.
Alongside Simina Banu, she is co-editor of Maybe Mag.
Originally, she is from Windsor, Ontario, where she lives some of the year with her trans mother and female erastes, Sybil Lamb.
